Welcoming your baby earthside is the most empowering and vulnerable experience of your life. This is one of the parents' favorite photographs that I made for them. The entire family way able to be totally present and fully supportive of mamma.
The affection, supportive, reassurance and love are what powered her even more. Dad was thrilled when he heard the nurse said, "I can see the baby's hair!" I love this photograph because this is moment the nurse showed him baby Maya's hair. I was able to observe Dad's expression of ecstasy. Neither he nor his wife could have made this photograph because they were busy enjoying a major life change together.
